The design allows schools to easily integrate it into their programmes of learning, where teachers are a support for information gathering and sharing. Kahukura can be facilitated during class time at school, used as homework, or completed independently by tamariki with their own whānau (so the school doesn’t have to be involved). There are no age restrictions but we recommend from age 7 up, including primary and secondary, parents and others interested in learning more about Ngai Tahu.
